Apple Offers Free Fixes for Broken iPhone Duo Screens

Early buyers of Apple's first foldable phone ran into trouble this week. Several owners opened their new iPhone Duo devices to find cracked glass along the middle fold.

Apple responded to the complaints on Monday. The company knows about the screen defect. Leaders promise to replace damaged phones under AppleCare coverage without charging customers.

First runs of new hardware often hit bumps in the road. Current owners can visit an Apple store to get a working phone and protect their purchase.
