Buffett Gives Billions in Berkshire Stock

Warren Buffett, a famous investor, recently gave away a lot of money. He donated almost $6 billion in Berkshire Hathaway stock. This money went to charities run by his own children.

Buffett used to give money to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He stopped these donations in 2021. Now, his donations focus on his family's foundations. These groups include the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, the Sherwood Foundation, the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, and the Novo Foundation.

Buffett, who is 93, plans to give away all his Berkshire Hathaway shares. He wants to do this over time. His recent stock gifts continue this plan.
