Buffett Shifts Billions From Gates Foundation

Warren Buffett, an investment legend, changed his giving plans. He gave away almost $6 billion in Berkshire Hathaway stock. This money now goes to charities run by his children.

Previously, a big part of Buffett's giving went to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. This foundation got billions from him over the years. This new decision marks a big change in his donation strategy.

Buffett, at 95, continues his tradition of giving. But the Gates Foundation is no longer on his list for these large stock donations.

This shift means more money for other causes. Buffett's children oversee these new foundations. They will now direct these significant funds to various charitable works.
