China Keeps Rare Earths Flowing to Europe
China promises Europe will still get rare earth minerals, even as a trade deal with the U.S. ends.

Rare earth minerals are very important. They power our phones, electric cars, and wind turbines. China provides most of these special minerals to the world. Other countries worry about getting enough.
Europe's trade boss, Maroš Šefčovič, met with China's Commerce Minister Wang Wentao in Beijing. They talked about trade. China said it will keep sending rare earths to Europe. This is good news for Europe's factories.
This meeting happened just before a trade agreement between the U.S. and China ends. Even with that change, China ensures Europe's supply remains steady. This means important industries in Europe can keep making key products.
