Texas Stock Exchange Opens, Challenges Wall Street

A new stock exchange just opened in Dallas, Texas. It is called the Texas Stock Exchange, or TXSE. This is the first new major stock exchange in the U.S. in many years.

The TXSE aims to compete with older exchanges like the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. It wants to attract companies that want to list their shares. This includes new companies looking to go public for the first time.
