Virgin Galactic Reveals New Spaceship for 2027 Flights

Space travel takes another step forward. Virgin Galactic has a fresh spaceship ready for testing. The ship is named Apeiron. It arrived at Spaceport America in New Mexico this week.

Engineers will test the vehicle on the ground first. Next, they plan to fly test runs high into the sky. The company wants to carry paying tourists to space by 2027. These new ships hold more guests and can fly more often than older models.

Space tourism remains an expensive hobby today. Still, regular trips help lower travel costs over time. Virgin Galactic needs these tests to work so it can build a lasting space business.
