Wall Street Giants Cash In on AI Stock Boom

Three Wall Street banks made $52 billion this year by funding big tech trades for hedge funds.

The race for artificial intelligence is making top Wall Street banks rich. Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan lead the pack along with Morgan Stanley. Big hedge funds want to buy tech stocks, and these banks lend them the cash to do it.

Together, the top three banks made $52 billion in stock trading this year. That total captures about 80% of the entire market. Most of this growth comes from lending money to funds making large bets on computer chips and software.

Hedge funds borrow money to buy more shares. The banks charge interest on those loans. They also collect fees on every trade. This setup creates steady profit while tech stocks climb.

Everyday investors can learn from this move. You can look beyond individual tech stocks. The banks that fund the market often win no matter which tech company finishes first.
